I long to be one of them.
To drink freely with out regret

The night calls me out into
it and wraps me with its cool
blanket of darkness and mystery

A new life waiting to be lived
in. I, waiting for my
blood God to awaken and
make me a blood Angel.

Escape is all it is, an escape
from this world of mine that
I've lost control of and am
now just wandering through

I shall wait for my
glorious day to come when
all my blood lustful
prayers are answered and I
awaken in the dark, night filled
heaven I can call

HOME

Where all my brothers and
sisters welcome me with
open arms and sharpened
fangs.

Awesome...im reluctant to admit lol but I have always thought it would be cool to be a vampire...they appear so glamourous and yet....terrifying in a way. I dont know, one of those things ay.

I thought this was an excellent poem, dark and somewhat hopeful. Oh and I loved the ending, that just made it.

A real pleasure.

I LOVE your topic and I really liked your poem. I think that the dark mystery behind vampires inspires one's imagination to take flight. Good job.

Be well,
Loende
