Many were sitting and carousing , as usual.
Walked in, pulled up a stool, and ordered a beer
Same people, and same stale convos
Looked around, and thought........Why am i here?
So grabbed the beer.....went to the dark, dank corner..and sat.
There was only a juke box and a couple , of stools
No one else.no boring convos, nor ppl staring as you stroll, across the floor
just me and that music box...waiting to be played ;hearing and feeling and nothing else
I take a dollar, slip in the slot, and pick away
Find Pink Floyd.......Dark side of the Moon
Now I can sit back down, close the eyes, and listen.............
Only t o hear the words, of what is playing.nothing else
Take the beer, bring to my lips, and take the everlasting taste of that first sip
Finally........Just a time to sit and think.

Why is abstract? It makes perfect sense to me...LOL... With a few exceptions it applies to me... Very good narrating...
Good luck,
Alex
