if only the future i could see
but then it would ruin the guessing game
and i would be born with an unholy name

if i knew exactly what was to come
i could try to stop it but that would be dumb
because if the future is fortold
then it remains unchangeable

who on earth decided their own fate
when fail failed the logic it creates
messing with peoples simple minds
driving them insane thought they once were kind

it created a want, a jealuosy unpure
fixed on the sentiment and not the cure
future equals death but its never coming
the present is with every step; the future never dawning [comments] => 3 [counter] => 171 [topic] => 43 [informant] => hardrocker15198916 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )

very well done and it does make you think about life from your eyes and the plans for your life. the future is told and can't be changed. the way its meant to be is the way it will always end up. you can change who you are or were you come from because then it wouldn't be you. if you try to hard to be someone or something your not you'll miss the good times you could have being you. i'll be myself and no one else for everyone else is taken. take care Rae and keep it up....Steve
