wave to people on the shore, they wave back as you wave more,
Theres true friends, for you they feel, they know your pain is deep and real.
they throw a life line, for you to clasp, you just hang on is all they ask..

They know you are going down, without thease friends you would drown,
but even knowing they are there, you gasp to fill your lungs with air,
its very hard to ride a wave, that trys to drag you to your grave,
softly crying in the night heart is broken ,like a moth in a light..

The waves slowly do subside, and sweep away with the tide,
then just as you are coming through, the waves come back crushing you,
you float to an island all alone, miles and miles away from home,
your friends are calling come to me, but your miles away across the sea.

You see there faces in the night, but you are broken, like the moth in the light,
You have tried to ride the tied, your tears no longer can you hide.. I like the life line part of your poem. I think the only thing that keeps us from grabbing it is our own dibelief that we will have joy afterwards. All is not lost if you want to be saved, Do you?

I think this was very creative, and yes when we are despressed it sure does feel like we are drowning. But only you can make yourself happy.
