right before our eyes,
I wish this moment would last,
as Mommy & Daddy cries,
*************************************
Every little thing you do,
We watch you & smile,
the struggles you'll go through,
walking them in style,
*************************************
We look at pictures when you were so small,
knowing that you will still grow,
how you've changed from Spring through Fall,
and all the new things that you know,
**************************************************
We love you so much inside,
It hurts to see you grow up so fast,
but it also gives us pride,
If only those moments could last,
*****************************************************
We are so proud of you,
and through the years we will be more,
watching all that you can do,
before youre old enough to walk out that door,
******************************************************
A parents nightmare to see there kids grow,
wishing you could box all those memories,
trying to remember it all as the years go,
to pass down one day to their families!

Heatfelt and honest as always, love your poetry, don't ever stop writing, each poem you write is another memory to put in that box. Much love.

Dear Chrissy,
What wonderful parents you two are!
Children grow up so fast that if you miss one minute of their lives............they have progressed in some small way!
I can really relate to this one, as days drag........but years fly by...........Enjoy them every minute, and keep that Box of Memories close to you heart.
They love to hear things they did and said, for the rest of their lives!
Wonderful poem dear...........keep writing them!
Warm love
consuegranny
