My love .. If all your endearing and charm
that I gaze on so fondly today
were to change by tomorrow
and flee from my arms-
like fairy tales fading away..

you would still be adored ..
as this moment you are.
Your youthfulness fades, as it will..
I'd remiss all the ruin that rest in my heart
and love you eternaly still.

It's not that while beauty
and sweetness your own,
or your eyes unabashed by a tear,
that desire and fate of my soul would be known ..
though one thing's perpetually clear:

The birth of our love
will eternally shine
in all its benevolent ways...

For I've loved you since
Heaven created the skies ..
and I shall for the rest of my days.

All my Love,

Who could ever ask for more than that in an enduring love? This is so touching, it brings sweet tears to the eyes from the heart.

Simple, fervent, beautiful. I enjoyed each of these lines.

It's always rather like a treat each time I stumble across a real love poem, one that refuses to admit that such a thing as cliché is in existence...

Well done.

That was a pure pleasure to read. I got some chills. As usual the words give way to such a bigger picture of life, love and that comes with it. I find it hard to believe that not everyone can relate to this somehow or someway. masterful.

This poem reminds me of a song:

"You ask how much I love you
must I explain
I love you oh my darling
live roses need rain
You ask how long I'll love you
I'll tell you true
until the twelf of never
is how long I'll love you"

Thank you for a bueatiful poem.

Wow, simply beautiful. I must admit I have a fondness for love
poems and this one is exceptionally written.
"I'd remiss all the ruin that rest in my heart and love you eternaly still."
Powerful right down to the soul. I love your style.

Oh, Billy... it's beautiful. There simply is no need to ramble on here... a two word commentary somehow seems quite right.

An absolutely flawless piece of poetry you've written dearest Billy. What more can one ask for than an enduring love? Steals ones breath away and melts ones heart with such touching words. Your heart shines radiantly through this piece, Billy. You're a truly gifted writer, who never ceases to amaze me with the brilliant poems that he produces. Keep penning dear friend. It's always a pleasure to read ur remarkable work.
Hugs from ur devoted fan,
Sue, Dreamer
