Life Is Worth Well

I heard you coming in
Another late night again
I saw you hanging up your coat
Another twelve hour day
Overtime, cause theres bill to pay
And youre late on the mortgage note
Oh your eyes, how they look so tired
Drinking coffee to stay wired
As you watch the hours tick away
Kids in bed without seeing their dad
Losing touch makes you feels so sad
Wish there could be another way
How did life become such a struggle?
Staying a float has become such a juggle
Sometimes you feel like falling to the floor
Go up stairs to kiss your boys
And you feel that incredible joy
Makes you realize what you do this for
Thank God for families
Keeps us focus and makes us see
That life is worth well
Turn around and shes waiting there
The one you love, whose life you share
And to your face it bring a smile
Right then you know it
Life is worth well

I think you meant life is worth "while"
You have done a grand job on this poem. The one word is the only problem I see in it. |
