Array ( [sid] => 106325 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => What's Sad is........ [time] => 2005-09-23 16:48:30 [hometext] => This my voice to what i examine on a daily basis and people don't see my questions. [bodytext] => Does it mean that if I never go to college I can never afford a cottage?
That if I won't know how to use blackboard
Or that my automobile will never be legally insured
Our minds are like camcorder without the zoom
We can't toon in because, America's constantly bringing the new end
Went to college and felt like Wesley snipes in a white room.
White house black maid toothbrush and no broom

Why go out and buy a Lexus when it looks just like the new Kia
What about people catching the bus but they can't afford neither
But if I get a degree I will still owe thousands and fees
Mama's house is the only home
On the phone talking about sprint's $400 cell phone
But need to be on fafsa trying to get a grant or a loan
Like sprint our minds still Roam
More concerned about the merger of Nextel and sprint than the distance of Rome
Our choice is not for them to decide
They called it segregation but it was really apartheid

What's sad?
Is that the person who catches the ball is paid more than the person
who cures what you catch
Or that the person who shoots the basketball is paid more than the
person who sits down and shoots the cure in
But lets not forget where' America home of the Freeland
But really its just the country we live in
I'm in college studying micros
Need to be in Detroit using that biology and fix the pot holes
No team just a world full of solos
In order to get the bargain we choose the best buy
Can't get hired in circuit city or best buy

Remember when it s was cool to act a fool
Now that fool had McDonald's as his only school
Young girl pregnant but its supposed to be a lesson
But now adays we flip it and all of a sudden it's a blessing
There lies stretch like rubber bands but we callem mainstream
They gon get our money like a fix to fen
I'm trying to tell the police about DWB
It's irrelevant when my preacher is a bigger hustler than me
We strive to get that Mercedes
In Europe it's a normality
I mean it's our luxury but they give em to their taxis

My answer to you is: "We live in a world where things are seen partially" You mentioned a lot of good things in your poem but you missed one thing "love" . The world is sad but that does not mean you can not make a differance in it.
