[bodytext] => Celia the spider dangled from the silky thread she’d spun She thought to herself, I want to be like everyone else I really should be having more fun. As she looked outside on hallows eve And saw all the skeletons dance and scare She felt so alone on her moth eaten throne All alone nobody but her there. She had big fangs and long fuzzy hair But her problem was that she just couldn’t scare She’d open her mouth and nothing would come out Not a great freightening roar or a terrifying shout One day Celia was spinning her web when her foot got stuck On a washing up peg, She lost her balance and the plump spider fell Poor little Celia was going through hell When she finally landed she looked around The little spider did not make a sound, She seemed to be sitting on an old mans head He introduced himself my shaking her leg, They talked for hours about the powers Of being able to scare Celia gave a little puff And told the man that she was not a very good ghoul, He pointed his fingers and banged on his head “You foul” he began, And with puff he sat on the bed “Of course you don’t your only young!” The morning turned into noon and noon into night By this time the old man had taught the spider How to create a jolly good fright So Celia left with a grin on her face And scurried away At a rapid pace She had to go hide in an old ladies shoe Or crawl up from inside somebody’s loo There really was no time to waste, After that night Celia never looked back She bought herself gold shoes and a prestigious gold hat She now has the attention of all the naughty ghouls Because she knows how to scare so now she can’t loose [comments] => 3 [counter] => 268 [topic] => 7 [informant] => reecy [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => HumorPoetry )
