Let not time decide my fate
Nor plot the course of years
Let not my destiny set the date
To count up all my fears
Let not the hours pass me by
And leave me to my past
Let not the days leave me here
In the shadows that theyve cast
Let not my heart be burdened
With the woes Ive brought to bear
Let not the sorrows weight me down
And find that I dont care
Let not time decide my fate
Nor plot the course of years
Let not my destiny set the date
And find me counting tears.

Well Done! I love the last stanza!
Just what I needed to read right now too. I was ill for some time and had a heart attack on Jan. 4th and just started recovery. |
