we spent hours together, doing absolutely nothing but smiling
a year went by
and those smiles of yours
where now frowns
tears where always in your eyes
your skin was as white as a ghost
we still spent hours together
doing absolutely nothing but the smiles had faded away
two years now
and those smiles of yours
turned to no emotion at all
your eyes where to blood shot to even cry
and your skin wasnt white anymore,
it was blue, almost as if you where dead
i couldnt wait another year to see what would it be like
i couldnt spend hours together with you anymore,
doing absolutely nothing but smiling,
it was gone and not coming back
all that was left
was my best friend,
who forgot what it was like to smile together
three years now today
and no longer am i smiling either
my eyes are filled with tears
and my face is pale
because here i am
standing over your gravestone
saying what happened to that smile of yours

This is very sad. I hope this is not a true poem. It was well written and full of lots of emotion.
