My heart beats involuntary
Fatigue consumes me
Leave me let me be
So that I can die in peace
For I'm drowning in self defeat
Losing will to breathe
Losing will to feel
Losing will to dream
Losing will to be
Evil surrounds me
Write now!
What is right now?
Write now
because you're tired
Write now
because you're stressed
Write now
because you feel like a mess
Write now
because you're barely alive
Write now
because nothing is right.

because you have the power to make a difference

even if it's just one sentence.

| i read this poem, because of the title, and in the beginning i didnt think i would like this piece at all, because of so much repetition, but you made it work for this poem. that takes talent right there. ive had writers push me over the edge repeating the same beginning of a line three times, and yet this piece didnt do that at all. you certainly summoned your poet. |
