How do I reach to one so far
The words of encouragement fell to the wayside
As I die in the back of a burning car

I lost you in the translation
Love went one way and hate another
Yet here we stand in strange connection
Not quite friends but always my lover

omg Sophie, this was your best yet. Powerful yet tidy.

I'd say I liked the first stanza best, but I like it all so ***** much....

How do I reach to one so far
The words of encouragement fell to the wayside
As I die in the back of a burning car

and i really do like this part:

I lost you in the translation
Love went one way and hate another
Yet here we stand in strange connection
Not quite friends but always my lover

and this part:

Who wrote this heart breaking fiction?
Was it the demon you see in my eyes?

hehehe like i said i love it all.

And I miss you, Sophie. *gives you a huge hug*

That is an awesome poem, reminds me of the angst and the pain I felt with the dessolving of relationships in the past. Great wright!
