[hometext] => A set of allusions to five of my friends; See if you can find them!
[bodytext] => Lightning flashes its great might Thunder booms as if in reply; Yet the thunder has never won a night; All its efforts have never once rent the sky. We watch for the lion’s leap Only after hearing its roar; Yet if it really wanted prey Wouldn’t it leap first, not roar before? All it takes it one; More rock to stop the river; More man to stop the war; More feeling to stop this shiver. I walk through gentle flowers Journey across a sturdy bridge As I pass it, who’s beyond whom? I ponder this while passing a ridge. An apple seen, in caramel covered Sits nicely on a shelf But as the heat rises it begins to melt And icky brown goo runs all over itself. These wonderfully feeling britches of mine Are almost uncomfortably tight; And with every wash, it seems to me They’re squeezing more on me for naught but spite. I gaze at the moon, named Luna And notice how its gaze aids my sight And in the darkness when there is nothing else I need for my way no other light. A black rose lies in my view My mind knows of the reversal of roles; Yet I’m almost as confused as would be A penguin transported to the North Pole. And so now ends this amusèd tirade I hope that from here it will go better, Than it might have once been played.
