[bodytext] => This Fiercely Gentle Warrior
From indignant exasperation to gentle comprehending Love
in the time it takes to write a poem

...disregarded...
...held in contempt...
...a foot matt is given greater regard...
...made a scapegoat for all of your shortcomings...
...made to endure the mucousy saliva and profanity of the H-------- coat of arms...

What in Love's holy name
were you doing...
what possible reason could you have had...
who allowed you to even see,
much less set foot,
on the Mountain Top?

Such sacrilege.
Such an abomination.
Such blasphemy.
Such profanity.
Such desecration.

Fool!
Idiot Dreamer!
How stupid of me!
Why would I expect you to be any different than they?

My tail is far, far from my crotch...
You will not have the satisfaction of watching me beat my cloth...
No!
No.
No, indeed...
Earth's cleverest tailors be D-----!
My cloth is resurrected!
It's vibrant weave now joyfully billows with the breath of a Hurricane Wind...
This once torn and tattered battle flag is now the banner of a fierce nation...
a nation in privileged possession of a weapon far superior that of man's...
far, far superior to any forged by man's puny little gods...
No!
No.
No, indeed...
With strength of humility,
this tried and tested warrior,
in company of his brothers, Truth, Wisdom and Beauty,
with gentleness of touch,
kindness of spirit,
an understanding mind,
a compassionate heart,
a soul tender with remembered woundedness...
this fiercely gentle warrior,
will,
once again,
with utmost ferociousness,
envelop you
with
my
Love.

I really enjoyed this write. It had me caught from the first two lines. And as you spat each of the words I could see everyone's own gentle warrior
caught in a web of bad dreams.

You chose the right handle. Some of your poetry lines are enigmatic. But, very good, very interesting.
