There is no wisdom for this
No new truth to be laid bare
Not a single definable action
That might be taken to prepare

There is no reason in this
No logic to be applied
Nor rationale or explanation
Or pretty bow that can be tied

There no words enough for this
No perfect thing you should say
Not a sound to fill up the silence
That overwhelms me everyday

There’s no precedent
No perfect tense
No context
No time

There’s no thing-to-do
No magic glue
No how-to
No sign

There ~ is ~ only ~ this!

And even this
Stupid,
Convaluted,
Now concluding,
Rhyme

wow snemmy! Brilliant write. (God, I hate one word comments,
but I find it difficult for my brain to conjugate a cognitive adjective
to adequately and sincerely describe what it is that your poetry
does to me). But know this, dear Christine ...I love every one
and every one of them does something to me that I can't quite
explain at the moment, but that makes me want to BE better.
You inspire and delight the senses. Thank you.

I like this. I've always liked the strong, take-it-or-leave-it voice that shines through in some of the most feeling poems, and this is one (very good!) instance of it.

And I like the progression of flow, from the more normal style of the first stanzas to the down-spiralling (so to speak) of the latter parts. I just like it all through.

As a minor note, I think the third line of the second stanza's "rational" might be intending itself to be "rationale" (the noun-form, accented on the latter syllable). Just a pesky matter of an extra 'e'.

Bravo!

Andrew

A very impressive write, with a very creative style. You seem willing to experiment with different styles, which is a definite positive about your work. Here there seems to be an excellent coordination between form and content. As the intensity of the poem builds, so the form becomes more constricted. This symbolizes the more intense emotion, I think.
Poem, to me, seems to emphasize giving something your best shot....not afraid to try.

Excellent write,

Will

The way it is..is the way it is, eh?

Your voice is so much a part of this...it is so you,
and yet...and yet it has a refreshing new feel or aspect to it... a frankness that is not always a part of your works...something new.

I shall stand back and admire from a far...both this....and you.
