The endless night rides. The world is at its close.

There is nothing left.
These few, hollow words fighting with my fingers
mean nothing.

You are all alone. You find nothing in your rooms, at your fingertips. Your car becomes nothing. All your dreams, nothing.

The world is an empty stare swallowing its own tongue.

There is rot all around you. The rain rots. The mountains rot. The world rots, and you are rotting with it.

There is no other way to say what must be said.

There are no waters left upon this earth that will save you from your thirst.
You will drink unfullfilled.

You will live forever, and then you will die.
Your bones will rot, and your hair will grow,
and you will be nothing circled under a bright new sky.

There is no time to choose our love.
Now is the final moment.

The moment where all the struggles tie together and knot your throat; the moment that emcompasses you, and turns you away from your own muted screams.

Try to understand...

Powerful. I'm especially liking the lines

There is nothing left.
These few, hollow words fighting with my fingers
mean nothing.

greeting my eyes near the beginning of the piece. This is, actually, rather full of good lines, all around excellent work. May your road rise up.

Andrew
