Emphasizing and exaggerating the slow pass of time
Darkness beyond my window panes
Sun, it's scorching rays burn fire across the grass
Alighting in a blinding flash, the droplets on my window
Burning now past all doubts or thoughts of impossibility
Catching fire in a blaze of passion
The fire glinting in life before fading
Leaving a barron wasteland on an empty sun
I look away from this site before me
My eyes drawn back to the streaks on my window panes
Squinting now, the clear, sad drops are black
Burned beyond all thoughts of improbability
The contrast of a bleak world made black and white in a second
Determination brought on in a burning streak
Shining in the waning light the drops begin to fall
Burnt and tortured they run down the window
Slowly, these shimmering drops of black rain. deep and moving write. I feel there is something lying below the surface of this very personal. Vivid images throughout.
