I try so hard to make you happy
And all you do is make me cry

I try not to get angry with you
I try to just forget about the
Mean words you say to me
And the bruises on my body

I don't try to dwell on what's happened
And I still can't help but love you
Every day a new word adds insult to injury

I am afraid that one day I won't be
The same loving person I used to be

I know how you feel except in my situation, they don't use words to hurt me they use actions. they don't reply to my email so I don't know whether they still want to associated with me. I liked them alot yet I want to let them go. but I can't. Anyway, This was an excellent poem, keep up the good work!

I know how that feels, minus the physical bruises. But words can hurt just as much as a fist to the face can. This is a good write, keep it up!
