Age, Just some numbers in our way,
So what we are four years apart,
You are number one in my heart.

You are the one I could hold forever,
Never let go and live happy,
You are the on I love to be around,
No words said, not even a sound.

For just laying with you in my bed,
All clothes on, arms held tight,
Nothing to keep my heart from you,
Because no matter my love is true.

I never want to forget,
The time we spent for that brief moment,
That moment where you were mine,
All Mine and evrything was fine.

And even when the time comes,
To let you go and do your thing,
I'll never forget those times,
Those times when I loved you.

A very well written piece of poetry . Sad in a way, but it's better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all.
A very well expressed poem that touches the heart.
*hugs*

Reading this reminded me of my first love we were 4 years apart also. we are not together now each married to different people but still remain very good friends. There is nothing we wouldn't do for each other.
