We always thought
That we were meant to be.
Forever and ever
You and me.
I had a feeling
I had a change of heart.
Now, for ever and ever
We are apart.
I miss you more
Than you will ever know.
I miss the old times
The places we used to go.
Its hard to think about
The things that I have done.
I wish we could work it out
I wish I hadnt run.
Im sorry for the tears Ive caused
I wish I could take them back.
But words are worse than anything
Howd we get off track?
We always thought
That we were meant to be.
What happened to us
What happened to you and me?

Hello Bryan,
I thought, to the best friend I let go, was a very good poem. It's very bittersweet, and filled with a lot of emotions. I thought you did a great job putting this peice together. It flowed pretty smoothly, which made it easy to follow.I loved the way you ended it with a question. Good Job! |
