the child of light, child of darkness, she draws near.

the journey began with mankinds search for the light,
his illusions told him, only it can be right.

in light he saw colors, love he embraced,
in darkness, his anger, and demons he faced.

sorrow and chaos came, in choosing a side,
deep in the soul, peace and balance reside.

so rest in peace dark demons of doubt and fear,
child of light, child of darkness, has always been here.

We are defined on words of rite
Drilled as younger our frills of might
How can we choose between our dark ones
Why should we question those silent rooms
If inside all you want to do is run away
What waits outside our friendly window
Sunset the lost or the night perhaps
To find answers ask the questions
Then we can take flight

Beautiful and insprihg Sara.
Both, darkness and light have to face each other.
One without the other would not make man mature and bring him where he needs to be..
Exquisitely penned.Enjoyed it Sarah.
Love ad peace
Elizabeth

To fight the good fight, discover the inner light, find peace....... tough task. Many fall to defeat. Relish your victory! Good write.
