I was suppose to write a lyric poem about how I feel about anything and this topic just came to mind at the time. I hope you all like it and that I do not offen anyone. I do/did not mean/t to. [bodytext] => It is a haunting chapter in our history;
As death knocks at the door;
Only a great Misery,
Always asking for more.

Blood constantly being spilled;
The blood curdling cries;
When will its hunger be filled?
It constantly brings tears to my eyes.

Watch them fall and hear them scream;
Where is the Humanity?
Shutting my senses, hoping it’s a dream;
It is all pure insanity.

It is an endless bloody waltz;
As the soldiers dance their part;
Pure in motion, with no faults….
Do they have any heart?

The music of the gunfire constantly plays;
The vision is very obscene;
I hope it ends, a soul prays.
As it plays continually on the T.V. screen.

It is a haunting chapter in our history;
As death knocks at the door;
Only a great Misery,
Always asking for more.

Blood constantly being spilled;

This poem is excellent though Im not sure if this should be in the Haiku section. Noneoftheless, you should send this to George W Bush maybe he'll get the point!
