Today was the day
The day I walked away
I never said my goodbyes
I didnt want to see that look in your eyes
Dont tell me to stay
I wouldnt know what to say
Dont ask for one last kiss
Just one more moment of true bliss
You know what i have to do
My life must start a-new
Someday, maybe, again we will meet
We will run into each other on the street
But until that fateful day
I will be the one who got away
