Or pushed into the spotlight
Without the earth even caring

And time will continue to turn
Everything will come full circle
A life may come to its end
But another one just begins
Everyone and everything can be replaced

...very nicely expressed...a whole lifetime of observation effectively condensed to so few words...

...I'm afraid I am evolving into a soft, tenderhearted, hard determinist...freedom is a nice illusion...pick your illusion it seems...

..You might enjoy reading, "Illusions: adventures of a reluctant messiah..." It is by the same author as "Johnathon Livingston Seagull..." ...a quick read...

...I was thoroughly absorbed by your poem...intellect and emotion were skillfully blended...

...thanks...

How true. Too often we think we can control more than our fair share, but most is beyond our grasp. Let us look through the eyes of humility. Well written.
Take care.

It's a tough lesson to learn, but you expressed it well. This is something that I can relate to very much at this moment in time. These words do a lovely job of catching it all. Well done.

Be well,
Loende
