Array ( [sid] => 109945 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => A New Breath [time] => 2005-11-17 18:39:52 [hometext] => I am writing this poem today(11/17/05) as both a gift and an ommission to my wife to be, for she truely saved my life, and i love her all the more for it. [bodytext] => Seven different times
I have almost died
ninety percent of my life
I have always lied

Often by my own hand
does my death come near
As i remember each near-death
I shed no tear
for the reason I am alive
is the one who brought me here

She doesn't know how much
she really means to me
since that first kiss
my soul has flown free
The love that we found
I never knew could be

She saved my life
when she stole my heart
In my resurection
she has played the crucial part

I was well past dead
when I came back to her
The love of my life
is to whom I refer

I believe she is the one
Wait, I take that back
I was meant for tasha
and that is fact

So many winding roads
my lost soul has traveled
In one single kiss
the truth of my future unwravelled

I asked of her to marry me
To share my life
She gave me back my breath
and now she becomes my wife

Tasha I am forever yours
this you know well
I give to you my heart
which you saved from the pits of hell [comments] => 1 [counter] => 185 [topic] => 2 [informant] => crash [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 4 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )

She sounds like a wonderful woman.
Just as you have given her a gift in this poem, it seems that she has been given as a gift to you
Good luck

Steve
