Days, minutes, seconds, hours,
Bloom and die like all the flowers
Colourful blossoms, their heady scent,
Gone, and no one knows what’s meant

Years drift by like ponderous clouds,
Carrying us to our death shrouds
Across the skies of every life,
Storms and sweet days, calm and strife

Time and tide and all things pass,
Like grains of sand through the hour glass
What is squandered and what’s well spent,
When no one knows just what is meant?

Lets swim the waters of the seas,
Doing what we mostly please
Or rise and fall just like the flowers,
Crying for all of those lost hours. [comments] => 6 [counter] => 203 [topic] => 21 [informant] => spike [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 40 [ratings] => 8 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Lifepoems )
