[title] => Wonder?

[hometext] => My first poem and attempt at a Limerick. Please be gentle lol.
[bodytext] => I wonder how it feels to be a movie star? Being recognized at every club, even at a corner bar. Where every word you say has power and even seems to rhythm. Unlike the life I lead everyday, which I feel is barely worth a dime. Just trying to find a simple job, and wondering if my life will go very far. I wonder what it must be like to be rich? Walking around town without a care, having money to satisfy any spending itch. Being able to look at anything and simply buy it. Spending that much I’m sure any wife would throw a fit. Dropping a hundred dollar bill is as common as a man with a nervous twitch. I wonder what it must be like to be handsome? Giving a flash of a smile, holding every woman’s heart for ransom. Every word spoken is a word of flattery given to you. However, a hint of deceitfulness lies in the middle of their sentences, and the air of conversation lies in not being true. I sit and wonder hour upon hour, how it must feel to have power? Why everyone admires a man who makes choices for the world’s greatest power? My thoughts flee from me and I suddenly realize that I am leading every life but mine. I feel stupid, wondering why I have dreamed of sitting with them, drinking from their wine. This thought lingers over me like a dark shadow, but then my mind begins to open like a new flower. My thoughts turn inward, as I search my heart. I search every part and only find blunder after blunder. I don’t know how to become the man I dream of. So I begin to reach for the stars, and maybe a little above. I begin to ponder as I recline, I close my eyes and being to wonder.
