as the waves do crash
and ill sit there and wish
every kiss is not the last

we could light a roaring fire
to burn the town apart
yet it could not compare
to the one burning my heart

we could fly ourselves to rome
and stare up at the sky
and with you wrapped in my arms
ill pray thats how ill die

we could look up at the stars
all the way till dawn
and if i close my eyes
ill know you wont be gone

we could rent a little cabin
on a snow covered hill
and as we fall asleep together
my dreams will be fulfilled

we could dance until july
to your music we will dance
and ill be in heaven then
with you in my glance

we could run away together
to some foreign land
that could be my paradise
with you at my hand

we could take a thousand pictures
for all the world to see
but not a single one of them
could show what you mean to me [comments] => 6 [counter] => 306 [topic] => 2 [informant] => abnormalpunk [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 4 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )
