just flick a coin and I’ll come out
with a believable story
I never wanted anyone other than you
I wasn’t in love with him when we met

if this makes it through the phone
just don’t hang up and leave me alone
a blonde boy on the end of the line
says
“I know where it hurts, let me
see where it hurts”
but the air is too cold to strip right here

because it’s my body that’s aching it’s
my body that’s sore
it’s the skin
he laced with poison heat
until the air was thick and the whole
stretch became just too tight for me

so I’ll tell you a lie to ease your pain
I didn’t take you just to save me, I
didn’t indulge
I didn’t let you belong to me just
to get the scent of him out of my sheets
or the feel of him out of my head

such a refreshing style it was unique and i enjoyed it. I like simplicity in a personal write it makes it much more passionate. Some of the lines painted very descriptive pictures of events peppered with emotions. It is always releiving to see something new and pure. The entire piece was inspiring, refreshing and simply spectacular.

~give me a day to remember-before i erase you- the way we were, the man i loved. your hands inside of me, breath hot with desire because inevitably i will strike the match and light a fire to liquify every sacred promise and every hollow regret~weepingprophet

...this one left me with cloaked feelings and I don't want to clutter my thoughts with words...
