As I look into the innocence of your eyes, I see what I should be.
As I think about what you mean to me, I see that I should change my ways.
As I watch you come into a new life, I see whats wrong with mine.
As I touch your small, frail body, I see the error of my ways.
As I watch you open your eyes for the first time, I see what I've done wrong, and where I should go.
