Falls hither and yon
Blanketing all
In a great snowy yawn

Christmas lights twinkle
Colored auras peek out
Looking all hazy
In winter's night shroud

Soft puffy cool
Wind drifted high
For a moment all pause
In life's icy sigh

The magical air
That hangs all around
When chrystallized flakes
Flutter softly to ground

They muffle and stifle
All sounds to be heard
Making all bright
In a snow covered world

And so for awhile
All is pristeen
Blindingly white
Amazingly clean

There's nothing more peaceful
Than a silent snow fall
To make one content
When winter does call

Author's note: Love the snow, hate the cold! Peace. left me with a serene peaceful feeling. This reminded me of the snowflakes looking like feathers falling lightly down and everything was so quiet and still.

I loved how you captured that whole feeling of a northern winter, but especially the magic of that light snow fall to silence the world and still its restless beating. Just gorgeous.

Have a magical Cristmas,

Spike
