Perhaps it's time for Dice
to put out his light
as the chadows roll over me
Or will he fight?
For he's smiled many times in a long while
And though I've changed my style
marching past a turnstile
with sword in hand
my own army and band
I'm a soldier
a beast of rhyme removed from a time
that is sweeter and older
for now I've grown bolder
with SWP at my shoulder
no longer the timid and freaky
now a ragin anti-Caucasian(what have I become?)
but still freaky
and more spiteful than leaky
my poetry has become floetry
I'm infected by rap
It's stagnant and malignant

This is for me...
Perhaps it's time for Dice
to put out his light
as the chadows roll over me
Or will he fight?

interesting write, I am still trying to figure out what your soul is turning into? seems dark but I can't put my finger on it...

I'm not sure, either, but I'm starting to want the old one back:) What it's more literally about is my style of poetry changing as other things change.
