She rises as the sun, glowing, warm welcome given
She blesses this day with her precious gifts
Warmth, love, beauty, passion, carried on winds eternal

She gazes towards skies, pale and gray
Waning stars blinking their passing farewells
The moon bows it's sad departure
Awaiting it's return to bid her goodnight

Leaves rising up from the ground around her
Encircle her, inviting her to join their dance
Moist grasses caressing her feet
Wish only to comfort each step she may take

Cool gentle winds softly kissing her cheeks
Find tears of joy in their passing
Pay homage to her
This Goddess of morning

The birds of morning awaken
Singing to her their songs of welcome
Touching her heart
With soft voice, she joins their chorus

All Things know peace with her presence
This creature of light, and love
Each day of life begins anew, with promise
Knowing this Goddess has blessed it's dawning [comments] => 6 [counter] => 512 [topic] => 40 [informant] => dobad [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 20 [ratings] => 7 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => fantasy )
