Silence calls. Chitter chatter, chitter chatter.
Empty halls. Doesn't matter, doesn't matter.
The rain still falls. Pitter patter, pitter patter.

The sun shines. Hot 'n' bright, hot 'n' bright.
National lines. Wanna fight, wanna fight!
Warning signs. Isn't right, isn't right.
The sun still shines. Hot 'n' bright, hot 'n' bright.

The wind blows. Hot 'n' cold, hot 'n' cold.
Life shows. Getting old, getting old.
God knows. We've been told, we've been told.
The wind still blows. Hot 'n' cold, hot 'n' cold.

The world turns. Round 'n' round, round 'n' round.
Fire burns. Hear the sound, hear the sound.
Chaos churns. Hearts pound, hearts pound.

ther are'nt 2 many lyrics on here that r suppose 2 be songs, that inspire me let alone poems, but i gotta say this is magnificent, it's simple, logical and as i was reading it i had the worst urge 2 pick up my acoustic guitar and add music 2 it, it makes a terffic folk song, and i agree it's not only powerful and well written and a nice style u have i might add, but it so true, eveyrthing is mere illusion, or 2 coin the tittle phrase from the song by the group kansas, " All We Are Is Dust In The Wind "
i realy enjoyed reading this . . .
