Yet I still lay awake

Hope fades
dreams fail
smiles fake
yet I still lay awake
the sun rised
the tears fail
people choke
times change
yet I still lay awake
leaves crumble
days run short
the dancing stops
silence corrupts
yet I still lay awake
the music grows weak
drugs expire
the clock blinks 12:00
the skys breaks
the fire sparks out
yet I still lay awake
