Array ( [sid] => 112683 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Brittney [time] => 2006-01-06 17:15:43 [hometext] => This is for a little girl everyone knew in my hometown, who died too soon in life. We all miss you, baby girl! [bodytext] => She was a voice of reason,
Against the evils in this life.
She was a bright smile,
In the darkest of our nights.
She was only here
For the briefest of times,
But she'll be waiting
For us in Heaven.

She was a lover of all living things,
Down to the smallest of ants.
She was an anchor for some,
Against the pull of the dark sea.
She wasn't old, nor brand new,
But she kept us all together
For her own place on Earth.

What she was isn't as important,
As where she is today,
And what she was will never change,
Where she is today.
She will always and forever
Be in our hearts,
Resting in the hands of God. [comments] => 1 [counter] => 431 [topic] => 55 [informant] => angelchild [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => dedicatedpoems )

What a beautiful memory of a little child! Someday you will see her in the God's hands and caressed to his heart! Children are a gift from God and as some gifts are only to be enjoyed for a short time--they are still a gift!

Thanks for the beauty of your poem!
