Dance with me tonight, my ballerina
'Neath the moon and stars romantic glow
Let our stage be here, beside the ocean
Only you and I need ever know
Prying eyes won't see us in the darkness
Bare our souls and bodies on the sand
Swaying to the music of the waters
Touch my lips, and I'm at your command

Softly now, a gentle breeze is blowing
Running windy fingers through your hair
I am spellbound by your ageless beauty
Sighs of love soon fill the midnight air
Tongues entwine, we fall to earth together
Mars, the only witness to the sight
Time will hold its breath until the morning
Ballerina, dance with me tonight

Lovely, Larry. One is nearly inclined to sway as they read this piece. There is, of course, more than one way to dance -- this, clearly, is dancing with words.

Sighing a tad,
~Snemmy

Oh Larry ... exquisitely beautiful and beautifully exquisite! I can't get over
how wonderfully woven your words are. Or how excellent your word choices
are! Or how utterly passionate it is. Oh my, yes. Dripping, in fact.

This, my dear friends, is what is known as a work of art !

~Breezy
(who always LOVES larry's work, regardless ...
happy to see a more 'sweet' write from you.)
