Just let it fall
To the ground ~

Tear down the wall

( yeah )

Decrepit
Decaying
And falling apart

Only shelters
Shattered fragments
Lying there in the dark

Serving
Little purpose
Letting no light in

No new
Beginning to ~
Such a tragic end

( so )

Tear it down
Just let it fall
Pieces all around
Nothing left at all
Blow by blow
With the pick and maul
Oh, it’s apropos ~
Tear down the wall

Just like
Berlin, and
And as with Jericho

To let the
Healing start
You’ve got to let it go

You’re keeping
No one out
Only yourself in

You’re afraid
Of your own shadow
Don’t know where the hell it’s been

( so )

Tear it down
Just let it fall
Pieces all around
Nothing left at all
Blow by blow
With the pick and maul
Oh, it’s apropos ~
Tear down the wall

It is long past time
And it’s long past due
You’re a prisoner in a paradise
You never knew
Don’t you take too long
Don’t you wait no more
Or you’ll miss the opportunity
That’s knocking on your door

( oh )

Tear it down
Just let it fall
Pieces all around
Nothing left at all
Blow by blow
With a pick and maul
Oh, it’s apropos ~
Tear down the wall

Tear it down ( tear it down )
Just let it fall ( let it fall )
To the ground ( tear it down )
Tear down the …

Tear it down ( tear it down )
Just let it fall ( let it fall )
To the ground ( tear it down )

Tear down the

Waa-haaall ~

( Hoo-uh !!! )

Yes - tear down the wall
And checkpoint Charli - (we knew it all)
Lo - and beside
We were in right.
Songs then did swell
When the wall fell :-)
Hurray!
The wall is down, hurray
Bravo
Sing Berlin,- - sing!
Check-point Charli got mauled :-) :-)
Great job!
Sing Alleluja!
Nothing surpasses experience1!

Wow I loved this very inspiring and was just
a joy to read... at first I thought it could've done
without all the stuff in brackets, but since its
supposed to be song lyrics they make more
sense. I loved the imagery of tearing down
the walls that trap and constrain us... truly
remarkable I'm glad I read this.

Woo Hoo!!!! Rock on Nazzy!!!
What about Air bands? I can't believe they got so popular.

Great write Nazzy, going through a lot in R/L and this spoke to me on a relaxed level. (Don't worry if I don't make sense, to me I do!) Thanks for the write and for the sharing....I wish I had the music for it....I think I'd play it over and over a dozen times today.....

Ironically, what I like most about this is the way it follows a piece I posted called Havens' Wall.
It's a natural follow up to that impenitrable wall theory!!
Great work Nazzy!!
