I don't regret a thing I've done
When it comes to my relationship with Dad
Everyone feels sorry for me
But it's for them that I feel sad
I am still my 'Daddy's Girl'
As I always have been
This is certainly not an act
Or a condescending smokescreen
We're closer that we ever were
Even more so than before
I love that we are so close
It's something I cherish and adore
I've always made my own decisions
Not caring what anyone thought
Never cared of the consequences
Or how much I'd be distraught
I still don't care what others think
And that's why I'm so like Dad
Everything I do is my way
Be it good or bad
So the end result is what I suffer
And always comes at a cost
I don't care what I have to pay
For without it, I'd be lost

| I followed in my Dad's footsteps too, most people who are females.. say they resemble their moms, me, my daddy.. and he was perfect, excuse me Jesus, God, but he was... well.. why not, he was in your image.. and I follow closely.. how many men want this.. do it, for your daughters sake.. make those little ladies proud of you.. faith... huggies.. |
