WITH SUCH GRACE, ELEGANCE AND EASE.
BRIGHTEN MY LIFE AND SO MUCH MORE,
SHOWED ME WHAT MY HEART WAS FOR.
WHAT A PAIR WE MADE, THOUGHT IT WOULD NEVER END
BUT THE NEXT SEASON WAS RIGHT AROUND THE BEND.
WITH THE COOLER WEATHER, YOU STAYED INSIDE,
AWAY FROM MY SIGHT, YOU TRIED TO HIDE.
YOU LEFT ME CONFUSED, IN A STATE OF SHOCK,
ON THE TELEPHONE, YOU WOULDN'T EVEN TALK.
SO HERE I SIT WITH ONLY THOUGHTS OF YOU,
WONDERING WHY IT IS, WERE THROUGH.
FROM SUNSHINE TO RAIN, HOW FAST IT WENT.
NEVER EVEN HAD A SINGLE HINT.
AS THE WINTER DRUG ON, I HEARD THE NEWS,
I WAS ONE OF MANY, WHO'S HEART YOU USED.
AND OVER TIME I CAME TO SEE,
THAT YOU NEVER FELT THE SAME FOR ME.
SO WITH THIS POEM, I'LL LET YOU GO,
AND WAIT FOR THE SPRING SUN, TO MELT THE SNOW.

AW! This is such a sad poem. You did a great job with it though, you really have a talent. I'd love to read some of your other work.......
