us most about Old age
It's the feeling of
Losing your sense of ones self.

Your eyes see things
That your mind could not have dreamt
And for those with
deterioration (of the mind )
there's no denying
That getting old is no fun.

Thinking it as a way of
reverting back to
helplessnesss .

Back to childhood of a form
The aging adult mind reverts
back to when it all began
Some to be,
like mean, sad children and
most often die alone

But those who have led a rich
and full life
Slip back to more happier times.
And maintain their sense of humor
and look to getting older as
Receiving and Deserving
whatever you get.

Remembering their Funniest memeries
that make them smile and repeat
time and time again .

Keeping good thoughts
and clear thinking minds
and not losing
to much along the way .
Realization
sets in of not quite being
able to be
as you remember
from day to day .

Its hard and frustrating and things
are so much different now.
Our fears and reality
Finally, we to ,will all face
Alone or with others
With Life ending
grim or its gay.

As the many stories and teachings
of what they still remember
from their long agos
grow dim.

The memory just fails
And their spirit sails.

I hope that their imignations
take them to a writers
dream land pardise
How I'd wish to be as
small mice lisening
and writing things down.

So who do you have to care for you
when you get old ?
Standing there
One day

Grey and winkled
and tend to forget .
Slow moving, whinning
and argumentive ,
Wirey and Bone thin .
