to not let people, not let yourself see
what you really keep inside
you think it'd be to much to hide
how hard is it to fool yourself
to keep those feelings on the shelf
then take them down and dust them off
surrounded by dust and struggling not to cough
pain amplified, as new and old mingle
this wave of hurt, no longer a tingle
to look your own demons in the eye
that is something you cant survive
is it possible to accept this much pain
doubt it is, rather just take aim
pick up a gun and end it all
it's the only thing left when theres no room to fall
down at the bottom, no way back
they threw a rope, it turned out to be slack
left here alone, with no reason to go on
just pull the trigger and all problems will be gone

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
