The stresses of life racing through his mind

Yet he dreams
of HER

When their eyes meet
Her face lights up
Like a child’s on Christmas morning
He crosses the room
And wraps his arms around her tiny frame
In a hug that would suffocate the sun
Then he sweeps her off her feet
As he spins her in a complete circle
And she laughs as he gently sets her down
He lightly holds her head and tells her
“I’ve missed you”
While caressing her cheek with his thumb
Again her face lights up
And they kiss
His hands come away from her cheeks
And his arms surround her
Forming a shield
That would let nothing harm her

As he pulls away from this perfect kiss
He Awakes

And he carries on with his life
Yet he knows that she’s there
Waiting for him to join her
In that perfect moment

Wow Jason . . where did this one come from? That's probably a moment that everyone wants to encounter each time they meet someone new.. or when they're thinking about that certain someone. Definitely a moment that I haven't had yet haha. I adored this spectacular poem, it is something that I want happen to me.. and you portrayed it very well. It explains the exact details that a guy and a girl would go through. Took the wonderful dream and you captured the paralyzing feeling of that moment on paper. So Mesmerizing. I loved it. Splendid. Thanks Jason.

so i got thinking about this poem one day after i wrote it and i realized that minus the whole kissing part, this makes me think of an encounter between a father and his daughter. just something i didn't think of while i was writing it haha

so this is my third comment about this poem.
i just wanted to say that ive recently been writing alot of stuff,
mainly because i get really inspired when im in my Writers Craft class.. did you ever take that course.. anywho, its pretty sweet!
i hope i did REALLY well on my creativity project.. where you had to do 5 poems.
so i posted 2 poems this week or whenever. they aren't the BEST i
do like the feb 25th one tho. hehe.
i have yet to post like 3 other poems.. and one poem i also made
into a song - which i also like!! wahoo..
have you been writing much..

and by the way... this poem is inspiring BECAUSEE.. the first day in writers craft - our homework was to umm write down our dreams haha and ever since then ive been remembering dreams that ive been having and mr dudley says that if you start writing.you will remember more of the dream.. which is soo kewl.. and anyhow, my point is that you wrote a poem from your dreams.. and thats a really good idea. i should do that. lol
only my dreams are really messed.
hope to talk to you later!!
- jazz.
