Once cleansing now lay dormant
She quietly waited
But was dismissed

Like the daisy growing through
The crack in the cement
Trying to show its beauty
Only to be trampled time and again

She tried to let others know
Her need for just a smile
She quietly waited
But was dismissed

Like the soft white snow
Large luminous flakes
That, fall on the street
Only to become black slush

Her heart and soul shone bright
But others ignored her beauty
She quietly waited
But was dismissed

Like all good things
They come to an end
She left this life
And to heaven did fly

At the pearly gates
She stood in line
She quietly waited
And was joyously welcomed

Amazing poem. I love the way you write, you could just talk about a leaf and make it sound like the most amazing thing in this world. That's the way i'd like to be able to write... Anyways very beautiful write. I enjoyed it.

On earth we are like one tiny grain of sand mixed in with many other grains, but in heaven our little grain of sand and all little grains will all be noticed. Yes, their hearts are pure, patient, for they knows for what they offer here, like she does, it will be so much greater in heaven. Take the time to day to let others know just how much you appreciate, care and love them now. Very lovely poem Shari, thank you. You never will be dismissed by me. raquelLeah, your friend.

An absolute cause for celebration. The magnificance of this classic flow and gentle topic, formed together and pushed through the quill tip of a very talented hand. I loved this poem. I think this is one of your best, and with your notebook being filled with such impressively inked words, that my friend, is saying something.

I loved this!
