[hometext] => Memories...
[bodytext] => **************Authors*Note************* I had to write this for my Creative Writing class. It is supposed to be a snapshot poem which depicts a memory. The first two stanzas create the scene and the third adresses a person who would be associated with the memory (snapshot). ************************************** The sun is setting as I look out my window. The depression overtakes me like the night comes to take away the light of the sun. In my heart I feel only loneliness and I lean my head against the window pane, clearly defeated. All this grew from the distrust you fed me and stemmed from the hate you so bitterly placed before me. All you people, I shall leave you nameless; but, this is an ode to you, of all the pain you put me through and how never again will I let you get the best of me. All you nameless people who love the hurt that radiates from me, today I hurt myself again just to get back at you. But not with a knife placed on my wrist. This hurt is of reliving the memories – Oh, the painful memories – through words, that I write. . . Just for you. All you nameless people, that is all you are. Just, nameless people. ~Kortnie~ [comments] => 1 [counter] => 216 [topic] => 65 [informant] => justme03 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => toughstuff )
