This - the prophets words were said - is the promise of the prince as he passed his people from the staunch and stirring fever of his life.

And the people wept, and the courts grew silent, and the gallows fell, and the dagger and the ax and the sword were laid down into the iron makers fire, and were tempered, and from them was made a trumpet.

And from the tempered sword, and the ax, and the dagger, a trumpet was formed. And for seven days the trumpet lay silent. And at the end of the seven days, the trumpet was presented to the people. The people rejoiced, and the trumpet sounded, and it's sound was sweet. And the first of the promise was fulfilled. When far and distant paths we walk, the japser of our hearts will lock, and wait seven lengths of time to once again cross the amiable rivers of our love.
When far the mountain's hoary edge goes creeping from our sight, goes creeping past the enmities of night, our hearts will slip into their sleep, and dream, and find their comforts there.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
