Legs are spread to welcome the union
so no blood is drawn.
The essence of life
is again halted by worldly pleasures.
Search the world
of literary taught
combatting the placement
of worldly thought.
Their soul hovers throughout
the passionate embrace,
giving allowances to their
physical imprisionment.

Salvation of flesh
through the thirst for blood
despite the devouring
of a divine flesh.
Thought of form enter through death
achieving their long, lost devotion.
A soul searches
for a baby's embrace
but seduction was ancient lore
When lust learnt of an angel's way.

But remember my beloved ones,

the soul is inflicted with worldly scars
that disregard the seasonal changes.
Winter is again denied her occupation
in lieu of the affection given to spring
by physical yearnings.
A blank page will soon give witness
to the raven who rejoices in the evergreen
despite the dove's transcendence. [comments] => 2 [counter] => 206 [topic] => 49 [informant] => eggflipper [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 15 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => mystical )
