No man really owns her
She is where she wants to be
Her spirit is ever free

Some think she is fragile easily broken
Others think she is too out spoken
Delicate as fine crystal is her heart
But after it’s been broken she seldom falls apart

Leather and Lace is she
Full of contradictions as can be
Strong and always there to comfort others
Weak and unsure with love she will smother

She will not stay sad for long
Her spirit is far too strong
With the wind her mood will blow
No one knows which way she will go

She is of Leather and Lace
Though tears may stain her face
She will be fine after she cries
And will come back brighter after they dry

No Other woman is quite like her
And your heart she is sure to stir
Like a fresh breeze across the lake
Look out you may get caught in her wake

Leather and Lace is she
Compassionate and loving you see
But a temper like a hurricane
Enough to drive a man insane

No man really knows her
No man really owns her
She is where she wants to be

wow, i love that poem. i know a girl who is just like that.. always helping others and she's always strong for others, strong temper, lively spirit.. she was the first person to pop into my mind when i read it. incredible write. keep it up.

I believe you are getting better with each write, which is scary. Since I do believe you are a brilliant poet. This is my favorite poem of yours so far. A very enjoyable, and emotional cite of passion and beauty.
