Desire Awakens

Drawn like a gull to the sea,
my gaze takes in
all that he is,
all that I want.
My pulse quickens as he walks towards me,
as I remember
words whispered with heated breath
and eyes aflame in expectation,
and my hands tremble with the desire
that he stirs deep within me.
He is so close now.
Every part of me aware of him,
every sense heightened
and I shiver with anticipation.
I feel his breath on my face as he lowers his lips to my skin
and he traces a molten path over my body.
He knows I can't resist,
so primal is my need for him,
betraying mans evolution with it's intensity.
He knows well the passion he stirs,
and the more he offers,
the more I want,
like a wolf ever hungry
and I am enveloped in the shroud of lust and longing
he creates.
And he he smiles in triumph,
for he knows I am his.
